ABOUT US . INTRODUCTION -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Capitalizing on its conspicuous success and accumulated
experiences during the last decades, RPC is confident about itspotential
for further growth. The extensive analysis of the global Nitrogen
fertilizer demands and market trends carried out by the
specialized team indicates that RPC s position as a world class
producer of fertilizers will remain promising, and that PRC s
product focus should continue to be with fertilizer. Taking
everything into account RPC is determined to develop in future.
Following projects are already underway as a direct expansion
programs envisaged by RPC.
- Ammonia
Ill
- Rehabilitation
and revamping of Urea II
- Granulation
of Urea Plant Project
- Rehabilitation
and revamping of DAP Units
Razi Petrochemical
Complex Was established in 1968 to utilize Iran s abundant gas resources for
producing Ammonia and Urea fertilizer as well as producing Diammonium Phosphate,
Sulphuric Acid and Phosphoric Acid. RPC sestablishment formed the basis of Mahshahr
Industrial Area.
Plant
Operations & Facilities
Self sufficiency in all aspects of operations
RPC's plants and facilities are completely self sufficient, producing all the
utilities
required for the safe and efficient production of all products.
Total Production is divided between the units with the following capacities.
18-10 tpd Gas liquid separation unit
120 MMSCFD Gas Treatment No. I & II, increased
to 141 MMSCFD later on 1977.
81 MMSCFD GasTreatment No.lll.
547x2 tpd Sulphur Recovery unit No. I & II,
increased to 642x2 tpd later on 1977.
782 tpd Sulphur Recovery unit No.lll.
1600 tpd Sulphur Granulation plant.
1000 tpd Ammonia plant No. I.
700 tpd Urea plant No. I, increased to 875 tpd after
revamping on 1999.
1000 tpd Ammonia plant No.ll. .
1500 tpd Urea plant No. II.
1320 tpd Sulphuric Acid plant No.1.
1900 tpd Sulphuric Acid plant No. II & III.
300 tpd DAP plant No. I, increased to 700 tpd after
revamping on 1974.
800 tpd DAP plant No.ll.
480 tpd
Phosphoric Acid plant, increased to 850 tpd after revamping. Both Ammonia Plants
& Urea Plant (No. I) have been revamped modified during 1995-1999 and technological
improvements implemented to minimize down time of plant operations and ensure
a contin~os supply of products.
